Chip breakability were simulated with thermo elastic plastic FEM. Stress, strain and temperature of chip were obtained with thermo elastic plastic FEM with Iterative Convergence Method of orthogonal cutting process. Principal stress criterion was applied to the fracture criterion of chip.
